Fallen Maple Leaves
They make an interesting pattern and smorgasbord of colors lying on the grass. Since people generally like to keep their green grass in good condition these leaves will probably be removed by a mower or leaf vacuum. In the old days they would have then been burned. With concerns about pollution these days they will probably go into a landfill. They maybe be shredded and given/sold back to people as mulch.
